Orlando Boat Show Postponed

The Orlando Boat Show has been postponed due to coronavirus concerns the Marine Industry Association of Central Florida (MIACF) announced.“At the direction of the Governor of Florida and local health authorities, we must sadly confirm the rescheduling of the Orlando Boat Show due to COVID-19 concerns,” said David Ray, show manager. “While we are disappointed to postpone the event, our main concern and top priority is the health and safety of our visitors, exhibitors, staff, and the boaters that attend our show.”The show, which was originally scheduled for March 27-29…

SeaDek Named Preferred Supplier to IBBI

SeaDek Marine Products announced its new relationship as a preferred marine flooring supplier to the Independent Boat Builders Incorporated (IBBI). As a manufacturer of EVA nonskid products, SeaDek supplies its marine flooring for OEMs and the marine aftermarket. In 2014 Central Florida-based SeaDek Marine Products purchased a 72,000-square-foot production facility, a step up from the 17,000 square-foot building they moved from. The move came after several years of sustained growth that necessitated multiple off-site facilities for machine space and material storage.
