Exotic marine toys abound at Winterfest Boat parade kickoff

With a yellow seahorse logo that resembles a Ferrari, Seabreacher’s Seararri semi-submersible made quite the splash on the New River during the kickoff for Fort Lauderdale’s Winterfest Boat Parade.

With amazing demonstrations rising above the water and thrusting into the air like a bird, the Seabreacher can vector thrust, rising 25-feet high, out of the water. At 18-feet long, she seats two in an enclosed cockpit and runs 60 mph on the water. She can dive five feet, cruising underwater 25 mph.

“With a 300HP motor, she controls like a helicopter, with three points of control, pitch, roll and yaw,” said Anthony Abdallah, operator of the Seabreacher for the demonstration, adding, “It’s the thrill of a lifetime driving and riding her, everyone’s happy.”

The Seabreacher will be featured in the Winterfest Parade on December 15, 2018, with 100 vessels cruising through the heart of Fort Lauderdale, the Venice of America.

Another Winterfest entry is The Cruisin’ Tiki. The motorized tiki hut boats are intended for protected waters. As a new take on a party barge, the company produced 144 vessels, sold via independent franchises across the United States. On the New River in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., passengers pay $25/per hour to drink aboard the floating tiki hut, cruising under the palms.
