Vanquish Yachts expects to introduce the new VQ48 to the general public in June. The presentation will take place in bustling Saint-Tropez.

The exact date, time and location will be disclosed soon but we’re on course for the last week of June. The launch is being organised in close cooperation with our Vanquish dealer in Saint-Tropez, who knows the area, has a broad network and has extensive experience in sales and chartering.

Guests at the launch event will also have the opportunity to put the new VQ48 through her paces on the water and see for themselves if we’ve once again succeeded in exceeding expectations!

Construction on the two new VQ48s is proceeding apace. To design, engineer and build two aluminium motoryachts in seven months is a remarkable achievement.

Careful preparations and the relentless pursuit of efficiency are obviously crucial to ensure a short construction period. But it is a passion for innovation and a willingness to think radically outside the boatbuilding box that really save months on the process.

The hulls were transported to the painter last week and preparations for the challenging paintwork are now underway.

This famous Swiss TV personality has not only designed the most efficient layout for the galley and equipment of the new VQ48. He also came up with the unique idea of developing a Mini Big Green Egg Barbecue frame that can be set up in the place where the swim ladder normally resides.

This smart concept is a fine example of the pioneering spirit that is the hallmark of Vanquish Yachts. The ingenious solution means guests can gather around the aft deck to enjoy a barbecued fish caught just minutes earlier from the sea on a dedicated Mini Big Green Egg dish devised by René.
