Dockmate Selected for New Summit 54

Dockmate, manufacturer of advanced wireless remote controls for yachts, has announced its Dockmate wireless remote control docking system has been selected by Summit MotorYachts, to be incorporated into the Summit 54. Summit MotorYachts is a new brand that lives under parent company Kadey-Krogen Yachts.The Dockmate wireless remote-control docking system allows boaters to easily operate electronically controlled engines, bow and stern thrusters, anchor winches and horns from anywhere on board with a small handheld device.

Galati Yacht Sales Upgrades Lifting Capacity

Galati Yacht Sales, in Anna Maria, Florida, recently increased their yard’s lifting capacity to 187,000 lbs. with the installation of a new 85 BFMII mobile boat hoist from Marine Travelift. RMK Merrill-Stevens Adds Boat Hoist

Marine Travelift has recently partnered with RMK Merrill-Stevens for the delivery of a new 100 BFMII (100 metric ton lifting capacity) mobile boat hoist.The custom 100-ton machine will be operational later this summer and will join an older 70 ton Marine Travelift on site, expanding the capacity and versatility of the Miami shipyard as part of their ongoing modernization efforts.RMK Merrill-Stevens is a full-service yacht repair facility performing repair and refit of yachts, commercial craft and government vessels ranging from 30’ to 300’.

Marine Travelift Adds Two M5200H Forklifts

Boat Yard Marina Del Ray Adds New Hoist

Marine Travelift recently delivered a 100 BFMII (100 metric ton lifting capacity) mobile boat hoist to the Boat Yard of Marina Del Rey, Calif. The 100 metric ton machine is the fifth Marine Travelift to call the Boat Yard home and will allow them to open up a larger market segment along the California coast. “We purchased the 100 BFMII Marine Travelift in order to service the larger and wider vessels that call Marina Del Rey their home port,” said Greg Schem, President and CEO at Harbor Real Estate Group.

Snead Island Boat Works Acquires Ninth Travelift

Marine Travelift delivered a 50 BFMII mobile boat hoist (50 metric ton) to Snead Island Boat Works in Palmetto, Florida. This joins a fleet of four existing machines ranging from 15-75 metric tons and is the ninth Marine Travelift to call Snead Island home.
