MarineMax Promotes Riley
MarineMax has announced that Bryan Riley has been promoted to Regional Service and Parts Manager of Midwest and North Florida stores.Riley grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1989. He began his career in the Marine industry in 1993 when he started working at Port Arrowhead Marina as a Delivery Captain and later as Service Manager. Port Arrowhead Marina joined the MarineMax family in 2006 and afterward, Riley became the Operations Manager. Along with his wife and two children, he enjoys boating and all watersports.
Kramer Promoted to MarineMax District President of North Florida
MarineMax has promoted Aaron Kramer to District President of North Florida. In this position, he will oversee all MarineMax stores in North Florida including MarineMax Gulf Shores, MarineMax Pensacola, and MarineMax Panama City Beach.Kramer joined MarineMax in 2012 at MarineMax Houston. He has gradually moved through increasing roles of responsibility eventually managing MarineMax Gulf Shores. Most recently, Kramer was the General Manager of MarineMax Venice where he and his team achieved the utmost success for the past three years.

Brett McGill Named CEO of MarineMax
Recreational boat and yacht retailer MarineMax announced that the company’s Board of Directors has promoted W. Brett McGill to Chief Executive Officer and he will continue to serve as President.William H. McGill, Jr., the company’s prior Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, has been named Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors.Brett McGill served as MarineMax’s President and Chief Operating Officer beginning in October 2017 after serving as Chief Operating Officer from October 2016 and as Executive Vice President Operations from October 2015.
MarineMax Acquires Boston Area Marina
MarineMax has expanded its presence in the Northeast by acquiring the Boston area Bay Pointe Marina located on the Town River in Quincy, Mass.“Bay Pointe Marina is a well-established, full service, 11-acre site with 247 wet slips, 50-ton Travelift, for boats to 65 feet, and capacity for 300 winter storage boats,” stated Alex Russo, MarineMax General Manager. A 300-seat restaurant, known as Bay Pointe Waterfront, is also located on-site.“MarineMax will be relocating from its current home in Dorchester by October 1, 2018,” said Larry Russo, Jr. MarineMax Northeast Regional President.

MarineMax Miami Names Gonzalez General Manager
MarineMax announced Christian Gonzalez has been named the new General Manager of the MarineMax Miami stores.Gonzalez will be directing both the MarineMax Miami store located at 700 Northeast 79th Street and the new location at the Miami Beach Marina.Gonzalez joined MarineMax in the Service Department in 2001 and was quickly promoted to Assistant Service Manager. MarineMax Acquires Hall Marine Group
MarineMax, Inc., recreational boat and yacht retailer, has announced that it has completed the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Hall Marine Group. Hall Marine was founded in the mid 1970’s by Rod and Fran Hall. With fiscal 2016 revenue exceeding $50 million, Hall Marine is one of the largest privately-owned boat dealers in the Southeast. Hall Marine operates through six locations covering the following markets: Charlotte, North Carolina; Lake Wylie, Greenville, Columbia and Charleston, South Carolina; and Savannah, Georgia. The locations include two large marinas and four highway locations.

MarineMax Delivers First Magellano 76 in US

The Magellano 76 was conceived as a modern trawler that combines seaworthiness and long-range capabilities with luxurious living spaces. “My client and the new owner of the Magellano 76 already appreciated the Azimut penchant for quality and innovation, having owned a new Azimut 55S prior to purchasing the Magellano,” explained Mike Bader, Senior Sales Executive at MarineMax Pompano Yacht Center. “After purchasing the 55S, he quickly realized that as much as he loved his Azimut, he wanted more and shopped all the brands for a larger yacht.
MarineMax Adds New Jersey Location
MarineMax announced it will open a new location at The Channel Club Marina in Monmouth Beach, N.J. “We are excited about the opportunity to better serve our customers in the Monmouth Beach and surrounding area,” explained Matthew Cini, MarineMax Manager. MarineMax at The Channel Club Marina will carry brands including Sea Ray, Azimut, Galeon, Meridian, Scout, Sailfish and Scarab. MarineMax to Debut Sea Pro Models in Tampa Bay
MarineMax Clearwater will be displaying the latest models from Sea Ray, Boston Whaler and Scarab Jet Boats as well as presenting the debut of Sea Pro models at the Tampa Bay Boat Show March 11 – 13. “We are excited to have several new models to display at this year’s Tampa Bay Boat Show at Tropicana Field,” stated Jack Ezzell, MarineMax Clearwater General Manager. The all-new incarnation of the Sea Pro brand promises seven new models in 2016. Marinemax Acquires Pensacola Marina
MarineMax, the nation’s largest recreational boat and yacht retailer, announced that it has acquired the Bahia Mar Marina in Pensacola, Fla. Located on the Bayou Chico Channel, Bahia Mar Marina is a full-service marina with a 50 ton travel lift, working boat yard, large dry storage and on-site facilities for fiberglass, paint and bottom work. This facility also has covered and open wet slips, as well as a ship’s store. Other amenities include laundry, showers, restrooms, and a fuel dock offering non-Ethanol gas, diesel, and pump-out services. Bahia Mar Marina is also home to one of Pensacola’s most popular waterfront restaurants, The Oar House.
